This 42-inch long hand-dyed silk ribbon necklace is weighted with decorative ends of fine silver crab shells. The shells are partially covered in octopus tentacles, starfish with random suckers, orbs, and molten glass. Each end is secured with a sterling silver bead. The necklace can be worn two different ways...with either a simple loose knot or doubled first and then knotted. The length of each end is between 20 and 22mm and has been enhanced using a patina to bring out the delicate shapes and textures.
